Motorcycle Leather Gloves

Shop motorcycle leather gloves for road, touring and track use. This broad collection helps riders compare gauntlet, short-cuff and race-inspired designs in one place.

How to choose motorcycle leather gloves

Compare leather construction, palm reinforcement, knuckle protection, wrist closure and intended riding use. Review each product page for exact materials, sizing, protective components and certification information before ordering.

Gauntlet or short cuff?

A gauntlet cuff seals over the jacket sleeve and covers the wrist, which is why it is standard for track riding and for cold or wet weather. A short cuff sits at or under the sleeve, goes on and off easily and runs cooler, which is why city and cruiser riders favour it. The real difference is wrist coverage, and the wrist matters because putting a hand down in a fall is instinctive.

What the palm has to survive

In a slide the palm takes the abrasion. Look for a second layer or a reinforcement patch across the palm and the heel of the hand, and a sliding scaphoid pad if you ride hard — the pad lets the hand skate across the surface instead of catching and twisting. Seams placed on the inside of the fingers rather than the outside reduce rubbing on long rides.

Fit, closure and feel

Leather stretches a little with use, so a new glove should be snug without pinching across the knuckles. A wrist strap plus a cuff closure keeps the glove on under load; a glove that pulls off in a crash protects nothing. Before committing, check you can work the levers, the indicator switch and the horn with the glove on — dexterity you lose at the handlebar is dexterity you need.
