Customized Motorcycle Leather Gloves - ZMG-009

The ZMG-009 is a made-to-order leather riding glove from the Zeesmoto® custom programme, built from 0.8–0.9 mm genuine cowhide with aramid-fibre stitching and a long padded cuff.

Why leather thickness matters on a glove

0.8–0.9 mm is the working range for a riding glove. Thinner than that and you lose abrasion resistance; thicker and you lose the feel needed to modulate a brake lever precisely. It is noticeably heavier than a fashion glove and lighter than a boot hide, which is the trade-off a glove has to make.

Aramid stitching

Ordinary polyester thread abrades faster than the leather it holds together, so a glove can come apart at the seams while the panels themselves are still intact. Aramid thread is the standard answer to that, and it is why the seam material is worth listing separately from the shell.

The long padded cuff

A short-cuff glove ends at the wrist bone and leaves a gap between glove and jacket sleeve. The long cuff here overlaps the sleeve, which keeps the glove located during a slide rather than letting it roll off the hand. Pair it with a jacket sleeve that closes over the cuff.

Fit and sizing

Eight sizes. Measure around the widest part of your palm, excluding the thumb, and compare against the size chart in the listing. Leather gloves break in and mould to the hand, so a snug fit that is not tight is correct — a glove that is roomy when new will be sloppy once broken in.

Custom size, colour and design are available on request, including added names or logos. Customisation is quoted separately according to the work involved. Dispatch

Items are dispatched within 6–8 working days of order confirmation. Tracking numbers become available 2–4 days after dispatch.
