Touring Motorcycle Boots
Find touring motorcycle boots for long-distance road use, weekend trips and changing weather. Touring-focused footwear balances protective structure with walking comfort and practical entry systems.
How to choose touring motorcycle boots
Compare weather-resistant construction, ankle and shin coverage, fastening, sole grip, shifter reinforcement, lining and off-bike comfort. Review each product page for exact materials, sizing, protective components and certification information before ordering.
What touring asks of a boot
Comfort for eight hours, waterproofing that survives several of them in rain, enough walkability to be useful at stops, and real protection. A race boot is stiffer and protects the ankle better but is awkward to walk in; a touring boot gives up some of that rigidity to be wearable all day. That is the trade, and for long distances it is the right one.
Waterproofing, and where water gets in
Either a waterproof membrane or treated leather with sealed seams. The detail that catches riders out is not the boot: if your trouser leg sits inside the boot, water runs down the trouser and straight in. Trousers go over the boot. A soaked touring boot also takes a long time to dry, so a second pair matters on a long trip.
Fit for long days
Size with riding socks on and allow for your feet swelling over a day in the saddle. Check the ankle flexes enough for constant gear changes and that the sole grips a wet peg. Walkability is worth testing properly — you will be wearing these around fuel stops, hotels and anywhere you stop to look at the view.
