Why a women's cut is not just a smaller size

The difference is proportion, not scale. A women's pattern changes the ratio between chest, waist and hip, shortens the torso and the arm, and reshapes the shoulder. This matters beyond comfort: the reinforced shoulder and elbow areas are positioned for where those joints actually sit. In a men's jacket sized down, those areas land in the wrong place on most women, which means the part of the jacket built to take the impact is not over the part of you that would take it.

Dark rose rather than pink

The accent is a deep, desaturated rose — closer to a dusty burgundy than to anything bright. Against black with pearl grey it reads as a considered colourway rather than as a gendered afterthought, which is the usual failing of women's riding gear.

Fit and sizing

Eight sizes, EU 46 / US 36 through EU 60 / US 50. Fitted race cut for a forward riding position — short at the front, long at the back, long in the sleeve. Measure chest, waist and hip over the base layer you actually ride in, and compare all three against the size chart rather than ordering on chest alone. If you will wear a back protector underneath, take the larger size.

Care

Wipe clean using a soft damp cloth. Air dry away from direct heat. Use an uncoloured leather-care product — tinted conditioners will darken the rose panels unevenly and stain the pearl grey.
