Description
Deep purple with neon yellow safety panelling. The Ultraviolet-X is the high-visibility option in the women's ZEESMOTO textile range — built for riders who spend significant time in traffic and want to be conspicuous without wearing an all-fluorescent suit.
Key features
- Maximum visibility: Neon yellow panels positioned as visual disruptors against the deep purple shell
- Ergonomic touring fit: Contoured cut designed for women, with stretch panels for long-distance comfort
- Versatile storage: Streamlined front utility pockets for phone, cards and keys
- CE armor integration: CE-rated motorcycle armor at impact zones
How the colour split actually helps
A solid block of one colour, however bright, reads as a single shape that a driver's eye can dismiss as street furniture. Alternating high-contrast panels break the outline into segments, and a segmented moving shape is much harder for peripheral vision to filter out. That is the reasoning behind the purple and neon arrangement rather than a plain hi-vis suit: it is more conspicuous in traffic, and it does not look like a safety vest when you park up.
Touring fit versus sport fit
This is the more upright, long-distance cut in the women's range. Compared with the Mantis-Strike it has a less aggressive forward lean built into the torso, which makes it more comfortable over a full day and slightly less suited to committed sport riding. If most of your mileage is commuting and touring rather than back roads, this is the better of the two.
Fit and sizing
A wide size range is listed, from 3XS upward, cut for women. Measure chest, waist and hip against the size chart and allow for the layers you intend to wear underneath in colder months.
Care
Remove armor before cleaning. Keep the neon panels clean — fluorescent fabric loses a meaningful amount of its effect once it is greyed with road film, and the visibility argument for this suit depends on those panels staying bright.
Best for
Heavy traffic commuting, all-weather touring and any riding where being seen is the first priority.
