The Mantis-Strike is the sport-oriented suit in the women's ZEESMOTO textile range, in a colour-blocked scheme of vibrant green, yellow and crisp white. Of the three women's textile suits it has the most aggressive cut — shaped for active riding and body positioning rather than upright touring comfort.

Why the adjustment straps are not cosmetic

Armor only works where it is. A shoulder protector that has migrated three inches down your arm because the suit is loose is protecting your bicep instead of your shoulder joint. The arm and waist straps exist to pin the armor pockets in place over the joints they cover, which is why they are worth setting properly rather than leaving at the factory position. Check the shoulder and elbow armor sits over the actual joint when you are in a riding position, not when you are standing up.

Stretch panels and body position

The stretch panelling above the knee and elbow is what lets you get into a committed position without the suit fighting you. Textile with no give across those joints will pull the knee armor out of place as soon as you bend the leg to grip the tank — the panels keep the armor located while the limb moves.

Fit and sizing

A wide size range is listed, from 3XS upward, cut specifically for women. This is a close, sport-oriented fit by design. Measure chest, waist and hip against the size chart, and account for the base layer you ride in.

How to Measure for Riding Jeans

Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, level with your navel, keeping the tape horizontal and snug but not tight.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, about 20 cm (8 in) below the waistline.
Thigh: Measure around the widest part of one thigh, just below the crotch.
Inseam: Stand straight and measure from the crotch down the inside of the leg to the ankle bone. Riding jeans are cut slightly long so the hem still covers your boot with your knees bent on the bike.
Armor check: The removable knee protectors sit in internal pockets. In the riding position they should rest over the centre of your kneecap, and the waistband should stay comfortable when you are seated.
