Why neon lime specifically

Lime-yellow sits close to the peak of the human eye's daylight sensitivity, which is why emergency services and roadside crews wear it rather than red or orange. Against a black field it also produces the high-contrast segmentation that makes a moving shape hard for peripheral vision to filter out. A driver glancing at a junction is far more likely to register this jacket than a plain dark one, and that is the entire argument for it.

What it costs you

Neon lime is not subtle and it does not age gracefully the way black does. It also shows road film badly — fluorescent panels lose a real amount of their effect once greyed, so this jacket needs cleaning more often than a dark one to keep doing the job you bought it for. If you want the construction without the visibility, the StealthRidge R is the same jacket in matte black.

Fit and sizing

Eight sizes, EU 46 / US 36 through EU 60 / US 50. Fitted race cut, shaped forward for a sport riding position. Measure your chest over one base layer rather than ordering by shirt size. High-contrast panel work makes a poor fit obvious from a distance, so it is worth getting the measurement right.

Care

Wipe clean using a soft damp cloth. Air dry away from direct heat. Use a leather-care product suitable for the finish. Clean the lime panels more often than you would clean black leather, and keep the jacket out of prolonged direct sun — UV fades fluorescent pigment faster than it fades black.
