Sand tan with charcoal and bronze. The Sandstorm GT R is the desert-toned jacket in the Zeesmoto® R range — a light, warm body colour that sits closer to adventure and rally gear than to circuit leathers, on a sport chassis.

Why a light body in hot weather

A pale jacket absorbs meaningfully less radiant heat than a black one standing at a set of lights in full sun. The difference is small while you are moving and very noticeable when you are not, which is the argument for sand tan on a jacket used in hot, bright conditions. Combined with the perforated panels, it is the most heat-tolerant colourway in the range.

Tan hides dust, not grease

A useful quirk: sand tan is close in tone to road dust, so the dry dirt that makes a black jacket look neglected barely registers here. What it does show is oil and chain fling — dark marks on a light ground. So it looks good longer between washes and needs prompt attention when something actually stains it.

Fit and sizing

Eight sizes, EU 46 / US 36 through EU 60 / US 50. Fitted race cut, shaped for a forward riding position with a short front hem and long sleeves. Measure your chest over one base layer and compare against the size chart rather than ordering by shirt size.

Care

Wipe clean using a soft damp cloth. Air dry away from direct heat. Use a cleaner intended for light-coloured leather and keep it away from tinted conditioners, which will blotch a tan hide permanently. Deal with oil marks quickly rather than letting them set.

How to Measure for Riding Jeans

Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, level with your navel, keeping the tape horizontal and snug but not tight.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, about 20 cm (8 in) below the waistline.
Thigh: Measure around the widest part of one thigh, just below the crotch.
Inseam: Stand straight and measure from the crotch down the inside of the leg to the ankle bone. Riding jeans are cut slightly long so the hem still covers your boot with your knees bent on the bike.
Armor check: The removable knee protectors sit in internal pockets. In the riding position they should rest over the centre of your kneecap, and the waistband should stay comfortable when you are seated.
