Navy as the alternative to black

Navy does the same job as black — it hides marks, it goes with everything, it does not date — while being recognisably a colour. In daylight it reads as blue; at dusk it reads as black. For riders who find an all-black jacket too anonymous but do not want a bright colourway, navy is the usual answer, and the aqua accent here keeps it from looking like formalwear.

Two blues, different intentions

This is not the same blue as the CobaltSprint R. Cobalt is a bright, saturated mid-blue chosen to stand out; navy is a dark, desaturated blue chosen to blend. If you want the blue jacket people notice, take the CobaltSprint. If you want a dark jacket that happens to be blue, this is it.

Fit and sizing

Eight sizes, EU 46 / US 36 through EU 60 / US 50. Fitted race cut with a forward-canted torso, short front hem and long sleeves — all correct on the bike, all strange-looking in a mirror. Measure your chest over one base layer against the size chart.

Care

Wipe clean using a soft damp cloth. Air dry away from direct heat. Use an uncoloured conditioner. Navy is prone to sun-fading towards a chalky, slightly purple tone, so avoid leaving it on the bike in direct sun for long periods.

Best for

Sport riding, track-day preparation and fast road use for riders who want something quieter than a race livery but not plain black.
