Description
The Ironclad Voyager is the heavier-set jacket in the Zeesmoto® all-season textile range: a robust touring profile with deep copper accents, built for riders who spend whole days in the saddle and cannot pick the weather they ride through.
Specification
- Materials: Abrasion-resistant textile shell with reinforced high-impact zones and a breathable mesh lining
- Protection: Removable shoulder and elbow protectors; pocket for an optional back protector
- Weather system: Waterproof liner, removable thermal liner and adjustable zip ventilation
- Fit: Adjustable waist, arms and cuffs; sizes XS–4XL
Built for the long day, not the short hop
Touring fatigue comes less from distance than from small discomforts repeated for hours: a collar that lets cold air down the neck, a cuff that flaps at speed, a shell that cannot shed heat when the sun comes out. The adjustable waist, arms and cuffs are there to take the slack out so the jacket stops moving on you, and the zip vents let you dump heat without stopping to strip a liner.
Copper as a working colour
The copper accents are warm rather than fluorescent. They give the jacket definition in low light without the site-clothing look of hi-vis lime, and they do not show road grime the way pale panels do. If daytime conspicuity is your priority, the Summit Guard is the same platform with high-visibility lime.
Getting the layers right
Run the shell with both liners in cold weather, drop the thermal liner in spring and autumn, and take both out with the vents open in summer. Size for the bulkiest setup you will actually ride in: a jacket that fits well over a T-shirt will be tight across the chest with the thermal liner fitted. The range runs to 4XL, so larger riders are not forced into a cut that is short in the sleeve.
Care
Remove the armour and both liners before cleaning. Hand wash cold and air dry. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Reproofing the outer shell periodically keeps water beading off it rather than soaking in and chilling you through the membrane.
Best for
Long-distance touring, commuting through changeable seasons, and riders who want one jacket for most of the year.
