Ducati Andrea Dovizioso Moto GP 2020 Motorcycle Suit

A made-to-order leather racing suit in the 2020 Ducati Corse factory livery associated with Andrea Dovizioso — the deep red and white arrangement from his final season with the works team. Built to order in 1.2 mm cowhide and available as either a one-piece or a two-piece.

One-piece or two-piece — choose before you order

Every size here is listed twice, once as a one-piece and once as a two-piece, and the choice matters more than the colourway.

• One-piece has no waist join, so there is nothing to separate and expose your midriff in a slide. It is what circuits require for track days and what you want if the suit is primarily for track use. It is also awkward to get in and out of at a petrol station.
• Two-piece joins at the waist with a connecting zip. You can wear the jacket on its own for road riding, and getting in and out takes seconds. Some circuits require a full-circumference zip for a two-piece to be track-legal, so check your venue's regulations before booking a day.

If the suit is for the road with occasional track days, take the two-piece. If it is mainly for track, take the one-piece.

Why 1.2 mm

1.2 mm is the conventional thickness for a racing suit hide. It is heavier and stiffer than a street jacket's 0.9 mm and takes real mileage to break in, which is why a new race suit feels unforgiving for the first few sessions. That stiffness is the point — thinner leather is more comfortable on day one and gives up sooner in a slide.

Options available at extra cost

Back hump, removable thermal liner, matching gloves and boots. Perforation and air-vent pockets can usually be added at no or minimal extra cost. Design, colour and size customisation are quoted separately, as are 5XL and above.

Fit and sizing

Eighteen variants covering EU 46 / US 36 upward in both one-piece and two-piece. A race suit is cut for a rider tucked over the tank, so it will feel tight at the shoulders and short at the front when you stand up straight. Measure chest, waist, inseam and arm length against the size chart rather than ordering by your usual jacket size, and tell us if you intend to wear a back protector or chest inserts underneath.

Ordering and delivery

Made to order. Colour and shade can vary slightly from the photographs, and external protector styles vary — ask for photographs of your actual suit before it ships. Customised orders cannot be returned, since they are built to your specification. Returns and exchanges on standard sizes are accepted with return postage paid by the customer.
