Brown leather on a sport jacket

Brown almost never appears on racing leathers, because race liveries are built from team colours and brown is nobody's team colour. What it does have is the thing black lacks: brown hide visibly improves with age. The grain lifts, the high-wear areas lighten, and after a few seasons an espresso jacket looks better than it did new. Black leather only ever looks newer or older, never better.

Copper, and why it stays warm

The copper detailing is a warm metallic rather than the silver or gunmetal used elsewhere in the range, which keeps the whole jacket in one temperature of colour instead of setting a cool accent against a warm body. It pairs naturally with bronze, brass and bare-metal bike finishes, and with the tan used on the Sandstorm GT R if you are building a matched set.

Fit and sizing

Eight sizes, EU 46 / US 36 through EU 60 / US 50. Fitted, articulated race cut — short at the front, long at the back, long in the sleeve, all correct for a forward riding position. Measure your chest over one base layer and compare against the size chart.

Care

Wipe clean using a soft damp cloth. Air dry away from direct heat. Brown hide benefits from conditioning more than black does — as it dries it goes dull and grey rather than simply matte, and that is much harder to bring back than it is to prevent. Use an uncoloured product so the copper panels are not stained.
