Cobalt and the bike underneath

Blue is one of the few accent colours that has to be matched rather than simply worn. A saturated cobalt looks deliberate against blue, white, silver or black bodywork, and looks like an accident against red or green. Worth a moment's thought before ordering — more so than with the black or grey jackets in this range, which go with anything.

Silver rather than gunmetal

The detailing here is a bright silver, not the muted gunmetal used on the StealthRidge R. It catches light actively, which lifts the panel structure out of the blue rather than letting it disappear, and it is a genuine contributor to how visible the jacket is in low sun. The practical cost is that bright metallic finishes show wear at the edges sooner than matte ones.

Fit and sizing

Eight sizes, EU 46 / US 36 through EU 60 / US 50. Fitted, articulated race cut for a forward riding position. Measure your chest over one base layer against the size chart. Take the larger size on a boundary — leather does not give across the back, and a saturated colourway makes strained panels obvious.

Care

Wipe clean using a soft damp cloth. Air dry away from direct heat. Use an uncoloured leather-care product. Saturated blue pigment is among the quicker colours to fade under UV, so keep it out of extended direct sun where you can.

Sport riding, track-day preparation and fast road use, particularly alongside blue, white or silver bikes.
