Asphalt Nomad Black Café Racer Leather Jacket

A matte black café racer jacket with quilted shoulders, diagonal chest zips and a clean band collar. The Asphalt Nomad is the most conventional shape Zeesmoto® makes — the silhouette that has been on the back of riders since the 1960s, without the retro costume details that usually come attached to it.

Materials and construction

Genuine leather outer, textile lining, metal zipper hardware and reinforced seam finishing. Matte black throughout, with a full-length front zip and practical pocket storage.

The band collar

A band collar sits flat against the neck instead of folding over like a lapel. On a bike that matters more than it sounds: a folded collar catches the airstream at speed and flaps against your jaw for the whole ride. The trade-off is less protection from cold air down the neck, which is why this is a mild-weather jacket rather than a winter one.

Why matte rather than gloss

Matte black leather hides scuffing far better than a polished finish, which shows every mark as a bright spot. It also photographs as a solid shape rather than a set of highlights — the reason most café racer builds end up matte.

Fit and sizing

Eight combined EU/US sizes. Short street cut with shaped sleeves. Use the Zeesmoto® jacket size chart and allow room for intended layers. If between sizes, consider the larger option — this cut is deliberately close through the body and there is no adjustment to let out.

A short street cut and shaped sleeves support everyday movement. No certification, armor, waterproof or abrasion-rating claim is made.

Care

Wipe with a soft damp cloth and air dry away from heat. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or bleach. Professional leather cleaning is recommended.
