Motorcycle Boots
Find motorcycle boots for track sessions, long-distance touring and everyday road riding. This hub brings together protective footwear for different bikes, conditions and riding positions.
How to choose motorcycle boots
Compare ankle support, shin coverage, sole grip, shifter protection, closure design and weather resistance. Review each product page for exact materials, sizing, protective components and certification information before ordering.
Match the boot to the riding, not the bike
Race boots are tall and stiff, with limited ankle flex to stop the joint rolling — excellent on track, awkward to walk in. Touring boots trade some of that rigidity for all-day comfort and waterproofing. Riding shoes cover commuting and short trips where a full boot is more than you need. Buying the wrong category is the most common mistake here.
Protection essentials
Whatever the category, four things matter: ankle support, a reinforced heel and toe box, a sole that grips a wet footpeg and resists twisting, and a closure that stays shut under load. A boot that comes off in a crash does nothing, which is why buckle-and-strap systems exist on top of zips.
Fit and sizing
Size boots with the socks you actually ride in, and late in the day when your feet are at their largest. Your foot should not move inside the boot, because movement inside it defeats the protection. Check the ankle flexes enough for gear changes and that the shaft clears your trouser cuff without catching.

When comparing, match the boot to how you actually ride: racing boots run taller with more ankle support for track and sport use, touring boots trade some of that stiffness for all-day comfort, and riding shoes suit commuting when you want protection in a casual style. Compare closures, sole grip and ankle support on each product page rather than buying on looks alone. Unsure between the touring options? Read our guide on how to choose touring motorcycle boots.
